How it can be used at home
A grandparent who has said yes to it lets two close family members use Drop In for quick video hellos while they cook, so they don't have to touch the screen. They can turn Drop In off or press the camera-off button anytime.
Notes and limits
Talk with the person first. Drop In connects without the person answering, so only turn it on with their clear yes and only for contacts they choose. Regular price $199.99. Replaces the older 3rd Gen listing. Amazon does not list a built-in camera shutter for this model. A separate camera cover is sold on Amazon. Needs Wi-Fi and an Amazon account.
