What it does
A smartwatch system that detects possible tonic-clonic seizures and calls the people the wearer picks.
How it can be used at home
A young adult with epilepsy and an intellectual disability wears it day and night. If a possible seizure is detected, the housemate and mom they chose get a call.
Notes and limits
Talk with the person first. FDA-cleared; a US prescription is needed before it ships. Plans: Basic $17.40/mo (1 contact), Standard $26.90/mo (up to 3), Plus $52.90/mo (up to 10); yearly plans cost less. Some colors were out of stock on the check date. Needs a compatible smartphone. Requires a prescription.
